Reviewing a paper
Review every paper as if your name was going to be sent to the authors and if the paper is published that your review will be published alongside it.Don't spend more than 3 hours reviewing it
- Spend the first hour reading it without editing at all, just read and try and understand what they were trying to do in the best light possible
- Spend the second hour taking notes and collecting your thoughts
- Spend the third hour gathering this into constructive feedback
